Our Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers are printed using ColorForge Technology, Iron Oaks’ extended-gamut printing process. This advanced technology delivers richer tones, sharper details, and more vibrant color than standard CMYK — bringing your artwork to life with depth and precision.

Built for versatility, our transfers adhere beautifully to cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics — offering exceptional durability and stretch without cracking or fading. Whether you’re printing one design or a full gang sheet, every transfer is forged for quality, consistency, and speed.

Upload your file, set the size, and select the quantity you want. File types accepted include: png, ai, eps and svg. The upload tool includes the ability to remove background and upscale quality, but it is highly recommended that you start with a vector image or a png image with a minimum of 300 dpi and transparent background.

For the best print quality, please upload print-ready artwork that meets the following requirements:

• 300 DPI recommended at the intended print size
  
• PNG with a transparent background
  
• Clean edges with no unwanted background, halos, or stray pixels
  
• Artwork should be cropped to the design with minimal empty space
  
• Review your artwork carefully before adding it to your cart

Our automatic background removal tool is provided for convenience, but results may vary depending on the artwork. Please carefully review the preview after removing the background. The artwork shown in the preview is the artwork that will be submitted for printing.

Transfers by size files are printed to the size selected when ordering. All images are printed as a gang sheet and will not be cut into individual transfers unless done for shipping purposes.

Iron Oaks Customs uses instant peel film technology. Place, Press and Peel. It is that simple!

Pressing Instructions

Temp: 270–300°F

Time: 10–15 seconds

Pressure: Medium to firm

Peel: Peel immediately, after it cools, or any time in between.

2nd Press: Repress with parchment paper or teflon for a softer finish and to lock the transfer into the fibers of the garment.

Transfers on film should be stored in a cool, dry location. Care should be taken to avoid damaging the ink/adhesive.

As with all heat applied transfers, decorated apparel should be washed in cool water and dried on a low setting (inside out). Care should be taken to avoid additives such as fabric softeners and bleach. Heat and additives can significantly impact the longevity of the transfer.
